The third and final unit of a formerly semi-derelict industrial property at 29 Mackintosh Place in Irvine’s South Newmoor trading estate which was acquired and refurbished by a client of DM Hall, one of Scotland’s largest independent firms of chartered surveyors, is available for immediate occupation at an annual rent of £30,000.
The property, a highly visible trade counter unit, occupies a mid-terraced position with adjoining units now let to Screwfix and Topps Tiles.
It has a gross internal floor area of 557 sq.m (6,000 sq.ft) and an internal eaves height of 4m (13’22’’) with an electrically operated vehicle entrance door and a retail/showroom display window looking on to a large, resurfaced yard and car parking area.
Anthony Zdanowicz of DM Hall’s Ayr office, who is marketing the property, said: “We advised our client to acquire the property in Mackintosh Place when it was semi-derelict because we could identify its potential.
“As part of Irvine’s South Newmoor industrial area, the property had ready connections on to the two main road routes in the town and is home to a variety of industrial and trade counter operators including Arco, Grahams, Plumb Centre and North Ayrshire Council.
“Once it was refurbished to a high standard of finish, two of the three units were snapped up, and now only the third remains unlet.
“Viewing is strictly by prior appointment and arrangements can be made by contacting Anthony Zdanowicz on 01292 268055, e-mail: anthonyz@dmhall.co.uk.”
